Mayet's mantra in writing is "What do I want to know?"
From her first full-length novel, "Fourteen Days", a romantic contemporary novel published in December 2010, to the genre of speculative fiction for "Homo Roboticus", Mayet has explored themes she is interested from love to sentient robots, global warming and climate change.
And now, her new novel, The Gospel of Elian, set to be released in December 08, 2025 explores the world of ancient history during the time of Jesus, and the human foibles of men and women surrounding him, with consequences reaching the post-modern world.
Based in Singapore since 2012, Mayet moved back to Manila during the Covid pandemic but has been based in Singapore again since 2022.
